A Nusa Penida day trip starts early and includes a boat, bumpy roads, viewpoints and a swim. Packing the right things makes the day much easier.
The Checklist
- Shoes with grip: some viewpoints have steep, dusty paths. Sandals with straps or trainers work best.
- Swimwear and a small towel for Crystal Bay or snorkeling.
- Dry bag for your phone and passport on the boat.
- Cash (IDR): small notes for toilets, drinks and snacks.
- Sun protection: hat, sunglasses and reef-safe sunscreen.
- Motion-sickness tablets if you get seasick or carsick.
- Power bank: you will take a lot of photos.
What To Wear
Light, breathable clothes and a layer for the air-conditioned boat. Many temples and villages appreciate covered shoulders, so a light shirt or sarong is useful.
Good To Know
Lunch, entrance fees and the island tax are already included in our Nusa Penida tours, so you only need a little cash for extras.
