Overview

This is the Nusa Penida day most people dream about. You cross from Sanur by fast boat in the morning, meet your driver-guide at the harbour and head to the island’s famous west coast.

First stop is Kelingking Beach, the dinosaur-shaped cliff you have seen on every Bali feed. Then Broken Beach, a natural arch over a turquoise bay, and Angel’s Billabong, a clear rock pool right next door. After lunch you cool off at Crystal Bay before the boat back to Bali.

Kelingking Beach

The iconic T-Rex headland. Enjoy the view from the top; the trail down to the sand is very steep and not part of the standard schedule.

Broken Beach (Pasih Uug)

The sea flows through a huge natural arch into a round, cliff-walled bay. An easy loop walk with views from every side.

Angel’s Billabong

A natural infinity pool carved in the rocks. Your guide will tell you if the sea is calm enough to go close.

Crystal Bay

A white-sand bay with palm trees and clear water: a relaxed last stop for a swim before the boat.

Good To Know

Wear comfortable shoes with grip: some viewpoints have steep, uneven paths.
Bring swimwear, a small towel, sunscreen, a hat and some cash for drinks, toilets and snacks.
Nusa Penida roads are narrow and bumpy, and the boat can be choppy. Take a motion-sickness tablet if you need one.
Not recommended for pregnant travellers or anyone with back or heart problems.

Questions About This Tour

Can we walk down to Kelingking Beach?

The path is very steep and takes about 40–60 minutes each way, so it is not part of the standard day. If you really want to do it, tell us when you book and we’ll check if the schedule allows it.

Can we swim at Angel’s Billabong?

Only at low tide when the sea is calm. Waves can be dangerous there, so always follow your guide’s advice.

Is this tour suitable for kids?

Yes, for kids who are fine with a long day and some walking. Children under 4 travel free; ask us for the child rate for ages 4–11.
